About Our Breeding Program...

Having invested a great deal of time and money into our breeding program we wanted to start with only the best. The foundation of our kennel is one to be proud of. Cowboy Up Kennel dogs carry top quality champion pedigrees and genetics from Canada and the USA. We raise Labrador Retrievers in both the English style and the American style for the discriminating Labrador owner. Following the CKC standard we offer exceptional labs in black, yellow and chocolate, specializing in the yellow variety ranging from light cream to fox red. Our spaniels come in chocolate, buff and black (in both the solid and parti-coloured variety). We continue to improve our bloodlines, thus we can be seen showing our dogs in the conformation, hunt test and obedience rings. Above all each and every one of out dogs are cherished and well loved family companions!

Cowboy Up Kennel bases its breeding program on health and temperament—first and foremost. Our mission is to achieve temperament, health, beauty and intelligence through dedicated and responsible breeding. We pride our breeding program on breeding with “the whole” dog in mind. By uniting these qualities our puppies will be exceptional in every way. Our dogs always make excellent family companions and are also capable of making showing, hunting, obedience or service dogs in many cases. We are proud of all our dogs and hope that their offspring will grow into beautiful dogs that their families can be proud of.

Cowboy Up Kennel stands behind our dogs and carry genetic health guarantees with every puppy. Our guarantees are a reflection of our confidence and commitment in producing quality dogs. Proper puppy socialization is also a top priority for Cowboy Up Kennel. We strive to introduce puppies to positive interactions that will lead to a confident, well-adjusted puppy that is both friendly and intelligent. With proper feeding and care as well as the aid of a local vet we are able to offer happy, healthy, well socialized, quality puppies!

We consider the puppies that we raise and their new families an extension of our family. Cowboy Up Kennel is here for the life of your new addition to answer any questions or concerns you may have. We also offer support and training advice to help your new puppy become a valued family member. Cowboy Up Kennel welcomes the new owners to keep in contact with us. We love receiving pictures and updates on the puppies/adults. Your feedback is important to us as we continue to improve our lines and the quality of puppies we produce. We are proud to be able to offer references of puppy owners in many cities and provinces. Our clients are important to us!

We are active members of the Canadian Kennel Club and our local gundog club Tri-County Gundog Association.
