This picture won 1st prize in the 'Dogs Annual' magazine photo contest and is featured in the 2010 magazine.

Maya joined our family 9 months ago. We took picking a breeder very seriously and traveled 6 hours to visit Cowboy Up Kennel. Upon meeting Nathalie and Arnold and seeing the incredible facility, we knew our research had paid off. It was important to us to meet the parents before picking a puppy. We were amazed with every single dog. Not only were these dogs the best looking Labs we’d ever seen, the temperaments the dogs had, and the happiness they showed was heart-warming. It seemed like each dog was actually smiling. Within minutes of meeting her, we fell in love with Maya and started the paperwork.

All dog owners say it, but Maya truly is the smartest and most beautiful dog there is. She is very easily trained, eager to learn, and even more eager to please. She has the softest mouth, and the best personality. She is obedient and kind. She shows emotion and her eyes look into your soul. We could not have been happier with Maya and Cowboy Up Kennel.

We look forward to adding another Cowboy Up puppy to our family in the future.
