"He's sturdy enough to challenge the iciest water and heaviest cover to bring in fallen game. He's brave enough to serve as the invaluable ally of Police Officers. He's reliable enough to be the eyes of the sightless persons around the world, putting meaning and self-respect back into their lives. He's handsome enough to be the cynosure of countless admirers whenever fine dogs are shown and he's wise enough to be the gentle playmate of the smallest child while providing pleasure and companionship to the entire family. This wonderful combination of qualities is why the Labrador Retriever is one of the outstanding favorites among all breeds today." Helen Warwick

Lucy Lucy

"Lucy" (Lady and Whiskey pup) owned by Devon

"Hi Nathalie,

Just though I would email you with an update on how my pup is doing. At 5 months (almost), her intelligence and hunting instincts are starting to become evident. She has really started to pick up on my verbal commands in the last 6 weeks, and is retrieving with fantastic drive and tenacity. It's becoming clear that she has a great pedigree. I am so pleased with her temperament and personality, she is very affectionate towards everyone she comes into contact with. Despite the fact that this is my first Lab puppy, so far Lucy has been great to train. She was 99% house broken after about 4 weeks, even with my inexperience as a trainer. She loves the outdoors and loves to work. It's very exciting to see her progress! I will be starting her with birds in the next 6 weeks, so I will keep you updated with pictures. My brother is so impressed, he has expressed serious interest in purchasing a puppy from one of Whiskey's litters.

Regards, Devon"
